As one of my team members, Ryan Mitchell, from team nDo said. “In the book of Acts Luke records for us that Paul and Barnabas did not undertake their mission to the Gentiles on their own. They were sent out by their home church—the church of Antioch (Acts 13:1-3)—to which they often returned (Acts 14:26-28; 18:22-23).”
Like Paul and Barnabas, I am being sent out by my home church, Midrand Christen Gemeente in Pretoria, South Africa. They will be my sending church, as Paul records in Romans 10:14 – “How will they preach unless they are sent”
Finisterre Vision and my church will be holding hands as they endeavor to send me to the nDo language group in Papua New Guinea. I’m currently receiving 6 months of training with the Finisterre Vision Coordinator, Joey Tartaglia. Finisterre Vision is a ministry with the following vision: “. . .to see local churches work together to establish God-glorifying churches that are self-governing, self-supporting, and self-propagating in every people group in the Finisterre Mountains of Papua New Guinea.”
Please visit the Finisterre Vision website at www.finisterrevision.org. for more information.
There are so many supporters who are just so enthusiastic about the VISION in the Finisterre Mountains! I’m SO grateful for every single individual who makes this Vision possible. The Lord values every single one who is taking such good care of me as I am “going” Matthew 10:40-42 – “The one who welcomes you welcomes Me, and the one who welcomes Me welcomes Him who sent Me. Anyone who welcomes a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward. And anyone who welcomes a righteous person because he’s righteous will receive a righteous person’s reward. And whoever gives just a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is a disciple — I assure you: He will never lose his reward!”
